NDIS Information & Funding
Clear information to help you feel confident about accessing the supports you need.
Brain Buddy is a registered NDIS provider supporting children, adults and families through Positive Behaviour Support, Psychology and Early Childhood Intervention.
We welcome self-managed, plan-managed and NDIA-managed participants, subject to service suitability, available funding and current NDIS requirements.
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides eligible people with disability with funding to access reasonable and necessary supports that relate to their disability and help them work towards their individual goals.
Every NDIS plan is different. The supports you can access will depend on your individual goals, support needs, available funding and how your plan is managed.
Brain Buddy works with NDIS participants and their support networks to provide personalised, evidence-based supports that promote independence, build capacity and support meaningful participation in everyday life.
Depending on your individual plan, goals and available funding, Brain Buddy services may be accessed through relevant NDIS support categories.
May be funded through relevant behaviour support or capacity-building categories where included and appropriate to the participant's plan.
May be funded where psychological support relates to a participant's disability support needs, functional capacity and NDIS goals.
May be accessed through applicable early childhood or capacity-building funding, depending on the child's plan and individual support needs.
Important: NDIS support categories, pricing arrangements, funding rules and claiming requirements can change. Having NDIS funding does not automatically mean a particular service will be funded. Please confirm available funding with your plan manager, Support Coordinator, NDIA contact or the Brain Buddy intake team before services begin.
Clear expectations from the beginning.
Before supports begin, Brain Buddy will provide clear information about the services you've agreed to receive. The purpose is simple — to make sure everyone understands what has been agreed and feels informed and comfortable before support begins.

Do I need a referral?
+This can depend on the service you're accessing and your individual circumstances. Get in touch with our team and we'll explain what information or documentation may be required.
