At Brain Buddy, our clinicians take the time to listen, understand your goals and work alongside you to deliver personalised supports that make a meaningful difference. Together, our multidisciplinary team combines expertise in Positive Behaviour Support, Psychology and Early Childhood Intervention to help children, adults and families build confidence, independence and wellbeing at every stage of their journey.
Brain Buddy's psychology services are provided by the experienced clinicians from Psychservice, who work alongside our Behaviour Support team to deliver coordinated, evidence-based care for NDIS participants.
Each psychologist brings their own clinical interests and therapeutic approach while sharing the same commitment to person-centred, collaborative and neuro-affirming practice.
Erin enjoys supporting children, adolescents, adults, older adults and families across a broad range of presentations. She has experience working in public health, aged care and educational settings and has a particular interest in neurodiversity, diagnostic assessments and trauma-informed care.
Known for her warm, thoughtful and collaborative approach, Erin works closely with each person to develop practical strategies that reflect their goals, strengths and lived experiences. She draws on a range of evidence-based therapies including ACT, CBT, DBT, EMDR, Schema Therapy and Mindfulness to provide flexible, individualised support.
Sophie supports children, adolescents, adults and families experiencing anxiety, depression, stress and interpersonal challenges. She has particular experience working with neurodiverse young people and has a strong interest in ADHD and Autism assessments.
Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Sophie is passionate about creating safe, culturally responsive therapeutic relationships where people feel heard, respected and empowered. Her work is grounded in evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT, Brief Solution-Focused Therapy and Mindfulness.
Veronica enjoys supporting children and adolescents with emotional, behavioural and neurodevelopmental needs. She brings experience across clinic, school and community settings and has a particular passion for supporting neurodiverse children and young people.
Her warm, compassionate and neuro-affirming approach helps children and families feel safe while developing practical skills that support confidence, emotional wellbeing and everyday participation.
Chaya is passionate about helping children, adolescents and adults navigate life's challenges while recognising and building on their individual strengths.
She believes early intervention can create lasting positive change and works collaboratively with each person to develop personalised strategies that support emotional well being, behavioural management and resilience. Chaya provides compassionate support across presentations including anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism, emotional regulation and grief.
Yixuan provides warm, culturally responsive and neurodiversity-affirming therapy for children, adolescents and adults. She is passionate about creating an environment where people feel safe, understood and respected, adapting therapy to suit each individual's interests, strengths and goals.
Her work incorporates evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT and EMDR-informed techniques while collaborating closely with families, schools and other professionals to provide holistic support.
Ben supports adolescents and adults across a broad range of mental health presentations with a warm, approachable and collaborative style.
He works from a neuro-affirming and trauma-informed perspective, helping people better understand their experiences, develop practical coping strategies and reconnect with the things that matter most to them. Ben integrates therapies including CBT, ACT, DBT, Schema-informed practice and trauma-informed approaches to deliver personalised, evidence-based care.
Ria is a Behaviour Support Practitioner who is passionate about helping people feel understood, supported and empowered to achieve their goals.
She works collaboratively with participants, families and support networks to develop practical, person-centred strategies that promote independence, improve quality of life and build confidence in everyday settings. Ria believes that meaningful support begins with listening and takes the time to understand each participant's unique strengths, preferences and aspirations.
With a strong interest in psychology and human behaviour, Ria is committed to delivering compassionate support that respects the individuality of every participant while helping them build skills for long-term success.
John is a Provisional Psychologist with experience supporting children, adolescents and adults with a range of mental health and neurodevelopmental needs, including anxiety, depression, stress, ADHD, Autism and substance use-related concerns. With postgraduate qualifications in psychology and counselling, John brings experience across schools, universities, telehealth and private practice settings.
John takes a warm, open-minded and collaborative approach, drawing on evidence-based therapies including CBT, ACT and Motivational Interviewing. He is passionate about helping people navigate challenges, build on their strengths and create meaningful change, with particular interests in individual therapy and psychological assessment. John provides support in English and Cantonese.
Renae is the Practice Manager at Brain Buddy, bringing a warm, organised and customer-focused approach to supporting participants, families and the wider clinical team. With training in the Fundamentals of Practice Management, she is passionate about creating a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable and well cared for.
Alongside her role, Renae is studying a Doctor of Medicine and has a strong interest in both physical and mental wellbeing. Outside of work, she enjoys playing piano and guitar, singing, cheerleading and running. Renae speaks English and conversational French.
